Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani held talks with Sheikh Naim Qassem at the conclusion of his visit to Beirut on Wednesday.
The secretary general of Hezbollah appreciated Iran for its unwavering support for Lebanon and the resistance in confrontation with the Israeli regime.
He also lauded Iran’s backing for Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty and independence.
Sheikh Qassem also described the brotherly ties between the Lebanese and Iranian nations as the axis of perseverance and resistance in the region.
During his one-day visit to Beirut, Larijani held talks with the president, prime minister and parliament speaker of Lebanon.
