In a Thursday message congratulating the defense minister on the National Defense Industry Day, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said the strategic impacts of Iran’s glorious achievements in the defense industry materialized in the recent defense against the Israeli and US war of aggression.
He said regional developments and the lessons drawn from the 12-day imposed war in June demonstrate that the only path to security lies in continuously strengthening the defense power.
The commander called for advancing deterrent capabilities by modernizing military systems across land, sea, air, air defense, cyber, and electronic warfare domains.
Emphasizing the importance of innovation, the general urged closer coordination between the Defense Ministry and the Armed Forces to design and produce the advanced systems required for the country’s defense needs.
