According to a statement by the province’s media center, the floods struck the valleys of Bayhan, Jardan, Arma, and Koura, resulting in six fatalities.
The statement noted that the floods also swept away three vehicles and caused damage to public roads, electricity networks, private property, and agricultural lands across the province.
In northwestern Yemen’s Hajjah province, the 26 September website quoted a civil defense source saying that a house collapsed in the village of al-Khadraa in Ku'aydinah, killing three children and injuring their parents.
