Yemeni Army Strikes Israeli Ben Gurion Airport As Support for Gaza Continues

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yemen’s Armed Forces announced a successful missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, declaring the strike a direct response to the Zionist regime’s genocidal crimes and siege on Gaza.

Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement that the operation was carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian people and resistance forces.

He stressed the attack targeted the occupied Lod Airport, known as Ben Gurion, in the Tel Aviv area with a Zulfiqar ballistic missile, adding that Israel’s US-backed air defenses failed to intercept the strike.

“By God’s grace, the missile hit its target, and millions of Zionist settlers fled in panic to shelters, forcing the airport to suspend operations,” Saree said.

He condemned certain Arab and Islamic governments for their cowardice and complicity with Israel, saying such stances embolden the occupying regime to intensify its siege and aggression against Gaza, deepening famine and raising the death toll.

“What the oppressed people of Gaza are facing obliges all nations to act and break every restriction in fulfilling their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty to end these unprecedented crimes,” Saree added.

The statement concluded that Yemen will continue supporting Gaza until Israeli assaults end and the siege is lifted.

Late last night, Yemeni forces also reported successful operations against additional targets inside occupied Palestine.

According to Saree, the Yemeni missile force launched a hypersonic ballistic missile, “Palestine-2,” at a sensitive Israeli military site west of occupied Jerusalem al-Quds, claiming it struck with full success.

He said millions of Zionist settlers again rushed to shelters.

The spokesman further confirmed that the Yemeni drone unit targeted a vital Israeli site in the occupied Haifa area with a UAV, asserting that the strike hit its mark.
