According to the spokesperson of the Israeli fire service, the blaze erupted in the “Ein al-Dalia” area after a series of loud explosions shook the factory site, triggering panic among nearby settlers who fled in fear.
Hours of firefighting and rescue operations were required to contain the flames and evacuate those trapped inside, as the fire spread rapidly through the facility.
Fire experts said the incident was caused by a failure in the factory’s industrial refrigeration equipment, which exploded and set off the destructive blaze.
