TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the urgent need for a unified and resolute stance from the Islamic community to counter the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime.

In a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Wednesday, Pezeshkian condemned the Israeli regime’s actions as criminal, highlighting that such behavior demonstrates a blatant disregard for international norms and boundaries.

Referring to the Israeli regime’s aggression against Hamas leaders in Qatar, Pezeshkian emphasized the necessity of adopting a firm and unified stance by the Islamic community to prevent the continuation of the Israeli regime’s inhumane actions against Muslim countries. He added that the Zionist regime operates without adherence to any framework or rules, attacking any country at will.

The Iranian president also expressed his gratitude for Egypt’s role in facilitating negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program and the efforts toward achieving a comprehensive agreement. He praised El-Sisi’s clear and firm stance against Israeli aggression and called on the Islamic community to follow the teachings of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to act collectively in preventing further attacks on Muslim nations, his official website reported.

Pezeshkian extended an invitation to El-Sisi to visit Iran, expressing hope that high-level officials from the two countries would meet soon to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cohesion across the Islamic world.

For his part, the Egyptian president welcomed the discussion, congratulating Pezeshkian on the recent agreement between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), viewing it as a sign of Tehran’s sincerity and goodwill in maintaining regional stability, peace, and security.

El-Sisi stressed that there is no military solution to Iran’s nuclear issue and condemned the Israeli regime’s attacks on Qatar, reaffirming Egypt’s strong opposition to any aggression against Islamic lands. He pointed out that the recent actions of the Israeli regime underscore the pressing need for a collective and decisive stance against its expansionist ambitions in the region.
