The 26-year-old player was a member of the Turkish side Gaziantep Gençlik Spor last season. He has also played at Radnički Kragujevac, PAOK Thessaloniki and OK Metalac Takovo.

Ivankovic has represented the Serbia U-21 volleyball team.

Shahdab Yazd finished runner-up in the Iranian Volleyball Super League last season and is going to strengthen for the 2025-26 season.
