Israeli regime forces carried out aggressive raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank, coinciding with ongoing assaults by armed settlers against Palestinian civilians and property.
According to Palestinian sources, the raids sparked confrontations between occupation troops and Palestinian youth in multiple towns, leaving several injured by live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas suffocation.
The Arab48 website reported that regime soldiers ransacked homes, beat residents, and conducted on-site interrogations. Several Palestinians were detained and taken to undisclosed locations.
Troops stormed the homes of dozens of prisoners expected to be freed in an upcoming exchange, threatening families against raising flags, taking photos, or organizing welcome gatherings.
In the town of Silwad, north of Ramallah, Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians, while in Beit Furik near Nablus, a 14-year-old boy, Mahmoud Shadi, was arrested.
In the village of Salem, east of Beit Furik, the brother of Palestinian detainee Anas Ishtiyeh was also seized. Several young Palestinians were wounded during clashes in Yatta, south of Hebron.
Palestinian media said regime forces vandalized and tore down photos of slain Palestinians during their assault on the al-Yasmina neighborhood in central Nablus.
Since the onset of the Israeli regime’s war on Gaza, daily raids and killings have intensified across the occupied West Bank, where millions of Palestinians continue to live under brutal military occupation and systematic violations of their basic rights.
Despite mounting evidence of apartheid practices and administrative detentions, the international community remains largely silent — a silence Palestinians say emboldens the regime’s ongoing aggression and occupation.
