Speaking at a cabinet session on Wednesday, Pezeshkian said he was not seriously concerned about the plots hatched by the US or other foreign adversaries, as their hostility towards Iran is well known.
However, the president said his main worry is the spread and intensification of internal discord, artificial polarization, and unnecessary disputes in the country.
Pezeshkian described this situation as a source of anger, anxiety, and disappointment among the people.
He noted that some, instead of reinforcing solidarity and national cohesion, persist in destructive criticism and excessive negativity that undermine public confidence.
“In the current situation, we must all join hands and take positive steps together to overcome the difficult conditions ahead in a way that restores hope among the people," the president underlined.
