The Iranian athlete finished in the first place with 255 kg in the Men's 107 kg, setting a new world record.

Gharibshahi had won a gold medal in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris with 252 kg.

Iran’s Ruhollah Rostami (men’s up to 88 kg), Amir Jafari (men’s up to 72 kg) and Mohsen Bakhtiar (men’s up to 65 kg) had won three silver medals in the competition earlier.

The event, held in Egypt, has gathered athletes from 70 nations in the pursuit of medals and LA28 qualification.
