Israeli Regime Drone Strike Kills Civilian in Southern Lebanon

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that the Israeli regime launched two missiles at the excavator along the Kfardounin–Deir Kifa route.

The attack marks the latest in a series of violations since the November 2024 truce, which ended a year-long cycle of cross-border strikes that began in October 2023.

That conflict escalated into a full-scale Israeli offensive by September 2024, killing more than 4,000 people and wounding around 17,000 others.

Under the ceasefire terms, the Israeli regime was required to withdraw all its forces from southern Lebanon by January 2025.

However, it has only partially pulled back and continues to occupy at least five positions along the border, in defiance of the agreement.
