Stressing the need for continued collaboration to complete the rail link from Herat to Mazar-i-Sharif, the Taliban official said the project would help enhance economic cooperation.

For his part, Gharibabadi referred to the relations based on neighborhood, brotherhood, friendship, and shared religious and cultural values between Iran and Afghanistan, emphasizing the need to further expand bilateral cooperation and resolve existing issues between the two countries.

He hailed his fruitful and constructive meetings in Kabul, saying the neighborhood policy holds a special place in both countries.
