Iran’s Tabatabaei Wins Bavarian International Open

He won the title with eight points, followed by German Luis Engel and Szymon Gumularz from Poland.

The 28th edition of the Bavarian International Open took place from November 1 to 9 in Gmund am Tegernsee, Germany.

It was a 9-round Swiss system tournament with a time control of 90 min/ 40 moves + 30 min + 30 sec/move.

More than 550 chess players competed at the event.
