TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Western countries have no choice but to accept Iran as a scientific hub in the field of peaceful nuclear activities, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said.

In an interview with IRIB following a visit to an exhibition of the latest activities of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) on Monday, Araqchi said the main goal of the Western states is to deprive Iran of its nuclear capability and keep everything under their own monopoly.

Araqchi emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stands alongside the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and has always defended, and will continue to defend, the rights of this organization, which belong to the people of Iran.

“Western countries have no choice but to recognize Iran as a scientific hub in the field of peaceful nuclear activities,” he underlined.

During his tour of an exhibition showcasing the latest achievements of Iran’s nuclear industry, Araqchi held a meeting with a group of senior managers of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.

He was also briefed on the AEOI’s latest activities in industrial, medical, research, and other specialized sectors.
