Tehran hosted a meeting on Tuesday between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Herra Lim, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Philippines, as part of the 8th session of the Iran–Philippines Joint Consultative Committee.
During the meeting, Araqchi highlighted the long-standing friendship between the two nations, describing regular political consultations and the work of the Joint Economic Commission as key frameworks for expanding bilateral relations in diverse areas of mutual interest.
For his part, Herra Lim briefed the Iranian minister on the outcomes of his constructive discussions in Tehran and reaffirmed his government’s determination to further develop and diversify ties with Tehran.
