French broadcaster BFMTV ended its live broadcast and evacuated its Paris building on Saturday afternoon due to a bomb alert, daily Le Parisien reported.
Police arrived with bomb disposal teams and sniffer dogs after an internet user allegedly claimed the building would explode.
"Our premises were evacuated following a security alert. Law enforcement is on site to carry out checks. Our programming is temporarily disrupted across all RMC BFM channels," BFMTV said on X.
Broadcaster RTL, citing witnesses, said employees sheltered in an underground parking area while a suspicious package was reported inside the building.
