"No, so far we have not received any information from Kiev. Apparently, (Vladimir) Zelensky was referring to the contacts that will take place tomorrow in Istanbul," Peskov said at a news brifing, TASS reported.
"These are Zelensky's contacts with our Turkish friends, who will probably be joined by Mr. (US Special Presidential Envoy Steve) Witkoff," Peskov said adding that the Kremlin will be waiting for the results of these negotiations.
Zelensky announced earlier that he would visit Turkey on November 19 "to advance negotiations" on the Ukrainian settlement. According to him, the Ukrainian delegations would present their ideas to their partners and discuss resuming prisoner swaps. Zelensky did not specify whom he intended to meet with in Turkey or what the ideas were.
In turn, Reuters reported, citing a Turkish source, that US special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff is planning to visit Turkey on November 19 to hold talks with Zelensky.
