In the meeting held in Tehran on Tuesday, the president emphasized that expanding cultural ties, encouraging people-to-people exchanges, and boosting academic and tourism cooperation can meaningfully elevate bilateral engagement.
A key duty of ambassadors, Pezeshkian noted, is to actively counter misinformation and anti-Iran propaganda by drawing on the deep cultural, historical, and economic connections that Iran shares with the partner nations.
The president also called for building durable communication channels to support long-term cooperation, highlighting the need to identify and remove obstacles to trade, investment, and broader economic collaboration.
He urged the envoys to work closely with the local authorities, business communities, universities, and media outlets to foster stronger and more strategic partnerships.
The new ambassadors also presented assessments of Iran’s current relations with their host countries. They outlined opportunities for economic, technological, and cultural cooperation, and affirmed their commitment to pursuing the government’s foreign policy objectives.
