In an interview with ICANA, the Iranian foreign minister said “the sense of worry and concern about the Islamic Republic has sharply decreased.”
“The propaganda of the Zionist regime and Westerners, and their attempts to present Iran, instead of Israel, as the regional threat have now been shattered and have fallen apart; of course, Israel’s attacks, genocide, catastrophes, and crimes in the region have also played a role in this regard,” Araqchi stated.
He also highlighted the importance of neighbors in Iran’s foreign policy, adding that the regional environment is considered as one of Iran’s foreign policy priorities.
During the past 14 months, diplomatic interactions with the neighboring countries have been held at a very high level, the minister stated.
Pointing to the numerous trips paid to the Persian Gulf region, Araqchi said such visits have created “a much better understanding compared to the past.”
