Araqchi Stresses Implementation of 25-Year Agreement with China

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Highlighting the importance of strategic ties with Beijing, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called for swift and comprehensive action to put the Iran-China 25-year cooperation roadmap into effect.

Iran’s Ambassador to China Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli met with Araqchi in Tehran on Saturday to review the latest efforts aimed at strengthening Iran-China relations.

Rahmani Fazli outlined the steps taken by the embassy, along with ongoing initiatives designed to expand bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and cultural fields.

The envoy also detailed upcoming plans to further enhance engagement between Iran and China.

For his part, Araqchi highlighted the strategic significance of Iran-China relations, noting that the officials of both nations are committed to deepening collaboration.

The minister noted that the 25-year Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement provides a crucial framework for expanding ties and called for all necessary measures to ensure its full and effective implementation.
