Iran Women’s Football Loses to Uzbekistan: Friendly

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian women’s national football team lost to Uzbekistan in a friendly match in Tashkent on Saturday.

Sports

The two sides will square off once again three days later.

The games serve as preparation for the next year’s AFC Women’s Asia Cup, starting March 1 in Australia.

Iran has been drawn in Group A along with Australia, South Korea, and the Philippines.
