Palestinian Movements Describe West Bank Attacks as Legitimate Revolt against Israeli Occupation

The Al-Ahrar Movement, a Palestinian faction, issued a statement hailing the operations as a direct outburst of accumulated rage against the occupying regime’s repressive and apartheid policies.

The movement explicitly praised the car-ramming attack in Hulhul and the stabbing operation in Atara, west of Ramallah, which left several Israeli soldiers and settlers injured.

In its statement, the Al-Ahrar Movement declared: “These operations are a natural response to the genocide crimes in Gaza, the escalation of raids, demolitions, settlement activities, and settler terrorism in the West Bank.”

The faction stressed that the near-simultaneous attacks in geographically distant areas prove the unbreakable unity of the resistance front and its rapid expansion across the occupied territory.

Such operations, it added, shatter the illusion of control maintained by the Israeli regime’s security apparatus and force its leadership into a permanent state of panic and alert.

The movement extended condolences for the martyrdom of the young Palestinians who carried out the attacks and urged all Palestinians in the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the 1948 territories to intensify resistance, keep the flames of uprising blazing, and make clear that the Israeli occupiers have no future on stolen Palestinian land.

Separately, Palestinian media reported that 18-year-old Muhammad Asmar from Beit Rima was executed by Israeli forces after carrying out a stabbing attack Tuesday in the illegal Ataret settlement north of Ramallah that wounded two Israelis.

The previous night, Israeli troops assassinated 17-year-old Muhannad Tariq Muhammad al-Zaghir after he rammed his vehicle into an Israeli soldier near Hebron.

In a related statement, Palestinian Islamic Jihad hailed both operations as heroic acts of resistance and a crushing response to the Israeli regime’s campaign of field executions, home demolitions, land theft, and settler terror across the West Bank.

The movement accused the Israeli regime — backed by unwavering American support — of waging open genocide while the Arab world and international community remain complicit through their silence.

The Islamic Jihad vowed that the Palestinian people and their resistance will never surrender and will continue fighting until the occupation is driven from every inch of Palestinian land.
