Araqchi made the remarks at a meeting with a group of lawmakers on Wednesday.
Outlining the Foreign Ministry’s perspectives on regional and international developments, he explained the ministry’s measures and initiatives aimed at safeguarding national interests.
Araqchi also emphasized the importance of maintaining and strengthening interaction and coordination between the Foreign Ministry and the Parliament to advance the duties of the diplomatic apparatus.
He further stressed the significant role of the Parliament and parliamentary diplomacy in realizing the goal of broadening Iran’s economic and foreign trade ties.
