Israeli regime forces raided multiple areas in the occupied West Bank early on Friday, clashing with Palestinian youths, while settlers attacked a village and set fire to two Palestinian cars, according to news reports.
Israeli forces targeted several areas, including Beit Ummar and Ain Sara in Hebron, deploying flash bangs and teargas.
Local Palestinian sources reported clashes between Palestinian youths and the soldiers.
Simultaneously, Israeli forces attacked Beit Foarik in Nablus, deploying flares and establishing a presence in the city's main streets. The village of Aswira also experienced incursions by Israeli forces.
Reports state that the soldiers positioned themselves in the town's main thoroughfares after the incursion.
Meanwhile, the village of Asira al-Qibliya also experienced raids by Israeli forces.
Israeli forces additionally entered Turmus Ayya and then the Al-Jalazun refugee camp north of Ramallah, with clashes reported between Palestinian youths and the troops in these areas.
The most recent developments involve Israeli raids on the town of Qibya west of Ramallah.
Separately, Israeli settlers, coinciding with the military assault on the village of Al-Taybeh east of Ramallah, carried out an attack, burning two vehicles owned by Palestinians and inscribing anti-Palestinian slogans.
While Israel has intensified a major wave of operations against the West Bank, particularly its northern regions and camps, since mid-January amid the previous Gaza ceasefire, it launched a large-scale incursion into Tubas province in the northern West Bank in recent days, nearly two months after the latest Gaza truce.
Israeli regime’s authorities claim the objective of these operations is to pursue armed individuals and those involved in anti-Israeli activities, but evidence suggests plans to advance annexation projects, displace Palestinians, expand settlements, and overall erode Palestinian identity in the West Bank.
Since the large-scale offensive in Tuba last Wednesday, Israeli forces have conducted violent attacks across the region and other areas, resulting in hundreds of injuries and the deaths of Palestinian civilians, including many children and adolescents. Hundreds have also been arrested and reportedly subjected to torture.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlements, backed by the Israeli army, continue attacks on Palestinians and their property, destroying numerous Palestinian olive groves and orchards.
