Series of Unexplained Industrial Incidents Hits Israeli Facilities

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A string of industrial accidents, including explosions, fires and hazardous material leaks, has struck factories and production sites across occupied terroirs in recent weeks, raising alarm among Israeli business owners.

World

The incidents began with a major hazardous materials leak at a factory in the southern industrial zone of Kiryat Shmona, Hebrew-language media reported.

Six fire crews from the Galilee-Golan station, along with specialist hazardous materials teams, were dispatched to the scene.

Local settlers were warned to stay away from the area due to potential environmental contamination.

In a subsequent development, dozens of unusual technical failures were reported at industrial facilities throughout Israeli occupied territories.

One of the most serious events was a large fire at an industrial complex in Haifa, described as caused by an "unusual equipment malfunction" that inflicted heavy damage and forced the closure of nearby factories.

Local experts have described the serial and similar nature of the incidents as "suspicious," saying they raise the possibility of a coordinated pattern of disruption to industrial infrastructure.

Israeli officials have declined to comment when questioned by media about the causes of the incidents and have maintained a policy of censoring and restricting publication of such reports.

Despite the restrictions, widespread field images and reports have circulated, undermining efforts to limit information about the events.
