Iranian Spokesperson Condemns Use of US Technology in Gaza Killings

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baqaei strongly condemned the use of US-provided data and technology by the Israeli regime in committing acts of genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, citing findings by a United Nations special rapporteur.

Politics

In a message published on his X account on Sunday, Baqaei referred to remarks by UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, denouncing the Zionist regime for systematically using advanced technologies supplied by American companies to carry out mass killings in Gaza.

“The UN Special Rapporteur, Francesca Albanese, explains that the Israeli entity is using data and technologies provided by American companies to commit acts of genocide against the Palestinian people, including the systematic and organized killing of children and infants in the Gaza Strip,” Baqaei wrote.

He described the situation in stark terms, adding, “This is systematic brutality, utter barbarity in every sense of the word.”

His remarks come amid growing international scrutiny of the role of foreign technology firms in the Israeli regime’s military operations in Gaza, as well as mounting accusations of grave violations of international humanitarian law.

Iran has repeatedly called on the international community and the United Nations to hold the Zionist regime and its supporters accountable, warning that continued impunity undermines global legal norms and human rights mechanisms.
