In a statement issued late on Sunday, the ministry said the Israeli regime was continuing and expanding its aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, while the international community and the United Nations remained openly silent.
Meanwhile, the ministry reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering position, at the level of its leadership, government and people, in support of the Palestinian nation and what it called their just cause.
It warned of the dangers posed by the intensification of Israeli aggression in Gaza and the blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, citing as the latest example the killing of Raed Saeed Saad, a commander of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
Separately, the ministry said the genocidal crimes by the Zionist enemy against Gaza had not stopped and were continuing on a daily basis, resulting in the killing of large numbers of women and children.
In a related development, the statement said the Israeli regime was preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and was continuing its attacks and blockade against the Palestinian population in the enclave.
The ministry also condemned the Israeli regime’s escalation in the West Bank, including repeated attacks, killings, home demolitions and assaults against Palestinians, as well as plans to expand Israeli settlements in the territory, all taking place amid complete international silence.
Finally, it called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities by pressuring the Israeli regime to implement the Gaza ceasefire agreement, complete its first phase, allow the full entry of humanitarian aid, proceed to the second phase, and halt aggression and settlement activities in the West Bank.
