Local Palestinian outlets on Friday published footage showing two Zionist settlers striking a Palestinian citizen with a car on Aqan Street in eastern Nablus, before escaping without providing assistance.
In a rare admission, the army of the Israeli regime acknowledged the crime, stating that the two Zionist settlers had illegally entered the city of Nablus without the required permits and ran over a Palestinian.
Meanwhile, the army of the Israeli regime claimed that the two Zionist settlers were later detained.
This incident comes as attacks by settlers across the West Bank have risen sharply, particularly following the large-scale military incursions into the northern parts of the territory in recent weeks.
These events are unfolding amid escalating daily assaults by settlers operating under the protection of the Israeli army and the continued aggression against Palestinian cities and towns throughout the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Al-Quds, since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza in October, 2023.
According to official Palestinian medical sources, nearly 1,100 Palestinians have been killed and close to 10,000 others wounded in Zionist attacks across the West Bank during this period.
Separately, the same sources said that Zionist forces have arrested more than 20,000 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 1,600 children.
