The latest deaths came amid an escalation of assaults by the Israeli regime across multiple districts, with simultaneous incursions reported in Jenin, Tulkarm, Ramallah, Nablus and Jericho.
Two Palestinians shot dead in Jenin area
The Palestinian Health Ministry said 16-year-old Rayan Mohammad Abdel Qader was shot dead by forces of the Israeli regime in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, adding that occupying forces seized his body.
The ministry said Ahmad Saed Ziyoud, 22, was killed by gunfire from forces of the Israeli regime in the town of al-Silah al-Harithiya, west of Jenin.
Separately, the Palestinian Red Crescent said its crews transported a 22-year-old man with a critical chest wound from al-Silah al-Harithiya to hospital, but efforts to save his life failed and he later died of his injuries.
Witnesses said forces of the Israeli regime stormed al-Silah al-Harithiya, deployed throughout its streets, and launched a simultaneous raid on Qabatiya.
Raids expand across the West Bank
Elsewhere, a Palestinian man was wounded when forces of the Israeli regime raided the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank.
Palestinian sources said Israeli regime troops deployed inside and around the camp and opened fire on a young man near its western entrance, wounding him in the leg.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the Israeli regime’s army raided several West Bank locations, including the village of Kobar north of Ramallah and the town of Jayyous northeast of Qalqilya.
Local sources said Israeli regime forces stormed the village of al-Mughayyir on the outskirts of Ramallah, deploying army and police vehicles across several neighborhoods and stopping and searching Palestinian cars.
Similar raids were reported in the towns of Kobar, Deir Jarir and Deir Ghassaneh in Ramallah governorate, where Israeli regime forces fired live ammunition, stun grenades and tear gas at Palestinians, triggering violent confrontations.
Meanwhile, an Al Jazeera correspondent said Israeli regime forces fired stun grenades at homes and shops during a raid on the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus.
Local sources also reported raids on the villages of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, and Rujeib, east of Nablus, with several military vehicles conducting what residents described as provocative patrols.
Separately, during a raid on Qarawat Bani Zeid near Ramallah, one Palestinian teenager was wounded and another was detained by forces of the Israeli regime.
Settler attacks intensify under army protection
At the same time, attacks by Israeli regime settlers against Palestinians continued across the West Bank, with settlers targeting Palestinian vehicles in the village of Ein Yabrud, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank, according to local sources.
Groups of Israeli regime settlers stormed the village of Burin, south of Nablus, searching homes, while other settlers, under the protection of the occupying army, raided the Old City of Hebron (Al-Khalil) and carried out provocative actions against Palestinians.
Israeli regime seals off Jericho
Meanwhile, an Al Jazeera correspondent said the Israeli regime closed all checkpoints and military gates leading to Jericho in the eastern West Bank, preventing thousands of Palestinians from entering or leaving the city without providing any explanation.
The closures caused severe traffic congestion and left hundreds of vehicles stranded, witnesses said.
Witnesses added that some dirt roads drivers attempted to use were seized by settlers of the Israeli regime, forcing many motorists to turn back.
According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli regime has fragmented West Bank cities and villages with 916 permanent and temporary checkpoints, forcing Palestinians to take long and indirect routes to reach their destinations.
The sources added that 243 iron gates have been installed across the West Bank since the start of the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
Since the launch of that war, Palestinian sources say forces and settlers of the Israeli regime have intensified assaults across the West Bank, killing more than 1,100 Palestinians, wounding around 11,000 others and detaining more than 21,000 people.
