Israeli Regime Weighs Controversial ‘Crocodile Prison’ Proposal for Palestinians

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israel’s Channel 13 reported that the Israeli regime’s Prison Service is examining an unusual proposal by national security minister Itamar Ben Gvir to establish a prison for Palestinians surrounded by crocodiles, modeled on a facility in Florida in the United States.

The report said the proposal was raised recently and that prison officials did not immediately dismiss the idea, instead beginning to assess its feasibility and possible implementation.

According to Israel’s Channel 13, the occupation’s prison administration is considering the plan to establish a so-called security prison encircled by crocodiles near the separation wall.

The channel said the initiative was presented by Ben Gvir during a meeting to assess the situation with Prison Service Commissioner Kobi Yaakobi, according to a SadaNews translation.

It added, "Although this proposal is unconventional and has been met with mockery from some officials, the prison administration has already begun to study the possibility of establishing this prison. Among the proposed locations is a prison near the border wall."
