Brigadier General Karim Chashak, a deputy commander of the Army Ground Force, said on Saturday that while effective measures had been taken in past years to enhance defensive capabilities, there has been a noticeable growth in the level of combat preparedness of the armed forces in recent months.
These advancements are clearly visible in the field of defensive equipment, including the development of drones, various types of missiles, and precision-guided, long-range, and network-enabled weapons, he said.
The commander added that recent incidents and confrontations, particularly the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime and the US in June, have further strengthened the determination of the Iranian armed forces to confront hostile intentions and the diverse methods employed by Israel.
He explained that these developments have led to more focused planning aimed at readiness for harsher and more complex conditions, with Iranian military forces preparing themselves for a wide range of threat scenarios.
Today the armed forces of Iran, including the heroic Army, enjoying the necessary readiness, have not neglected and will not neglect for even a moment the strengthening of defensive capabilities and the enhancement of their combat preparedness, he stated.
