Iran, Qatar Urge Pressure on Israel amid Gaza, Lebanon Attacks

In a telephone conversation on Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani discussed the regional developments.

Expressing concern over the situation in Palestine and Lebanon in light of the Zionist regime’s violations of ceasefire agreements and its continued attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, including the targeting of civilians, the two ministers emphasized the need for the international community to exert pressure on Israel to fully adhere to its commitments and to stop its policies of genocide, occupation, and expansionism.

The two diplomats also reviewed recent developments in Yemen and stressed the necessity of preserving Yemen’s territorial integrity and unity.
