Israeli Regime Kills Palestinian Girl in Gaza, Injures Two

The medical sources said an 11-year-old girl was shot dead by Israeli army fire in the al-Zarqa area of the al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, an area from which Israeli forces had withdrawn under the terms of the ceasefire.

According to witnesses, Israeli military vehicles stationed east of the neighborhood opened heavy fire on the area, killing the girl after she was hit by a direct sniper round.

Meanwhile, a woman and a child were wounded by Israeli gunfire that targeted displaced civilians at the Halawa camp in the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza, the medical sources said.

Palestinians have accused the Israeli regime of repeatedly violating the ceasefire agreement that halted a two-year Israeli genocide against Gaza, which has killed more than 71,000 people, mostly women and children, and wounded over 171,000 others since October 2023.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 414 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,100 others injured by Israeli fire since the ceasefire came into force.
