In a message sent on Friday to Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Pezeshkian expressed hope that ties between Iran and Cuba—both nations with revolutionary identities—would continue to expand and deepen.

The full text of the message reads:

“In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful,

Dear Mr. Miguel Diaz-Canel,

President of the Republic of Cuba,

I extend my congratulations to you and the noble people of Cuba on the anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.

This historic event stands as a testament to the steadfast struggle of the Cuban people for independence, social justice, and the safeguarding of human dignity.

While expressing our readiness to develop comprehensive relations, I hope to witness the continued strengthening of ties between the two great and revolutionary nations of Iran and Cuba.
