Explosions Heard in Caracas amid US Tensions

The Associated Press news agency reported at least seven explosions and low-flying aircraft were heard in Caracas.

The southern area of ‌the ‌city, ⁠near a major military ‌base, was reportedly without electricity.

The first blast was recorded at approximately 1:50 am local time, CNN reported.

“One was so strong, my window was shaking after it,” CNNE correspondent Osmary Hernandez said.

Several areas of the city were without power and CNN journalists in the Venezuelan capital could hear sound of aircraft after the explosions.
