FM Hails Iran’s Achievements in Defense Field
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the country’s know-how to manufacture defensive equipment has contributed to the development of other industries as well.
“Our defensive sphere and industries have taken great and remarkable actions not only to defend the country, but also for the development of different industries,” Zarif told reporters on Wednesday, after visiting a series of industrial products manufactured by the Defense Ministry.
Lauding Iran’s “enormous capabilities”, the minister underlined that such power has inspired public confidence that “not any country will be allowed to violate the Iranian borders.”
Zarif also noted that Iran employs its great potential to advance technologies in all fields, particularly the modern technologies.
Iran has in recent years made great headways in manufacturing a broad range of military equipment, including the air defense systems that use cutting edge technologies.
Tehran has repeatedly stated that its military might is defensive in nature and poses no threat to other countries.
