TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri in separate messages congratulated his Christian counterparts on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ and the new Christian year.

In his message on Wednesday, Jahangiri expressed the hope that the teachings of messengers of God would help deal with the challenges and crises that have gripped the contemporary world.

He also hoped that “increased collective efforts by the government and nations” would pave the way for the establishment of peace and tranquility all over the world.
