Iran Thrashes Bhutan at AFC U-14 Girls' Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran thrashed Bhutan 7-0 in Group A of the 2016 AFC U-14 Girls' Championship in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Thursday.
Maryam Mohammadi (21st), Roghayeh Jalal Nasab (30th, 39th, 47th, 69th), Aynaz Haghverdi (56th), and Saba Valizadeh (65th) scored for Iran.
The Iranian team had already defeated Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan 3-0 and 2-0, respectively.
Iran will play India in the event’s semi-final while Bangladesh meet Tajikistan.
The semi-final will take place on Saturday and the winners will battle it out in the final with the losers playing in the 3rd/4th play-off on Sunday.
