Iran’s Tasisat to Face Barcelona at Futsal Intercontinental Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tasisat Daryaei from Iran has been pitted against FC Barcelona Lassa in the Futsal Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2016.
The Iranian team has been grouped with Spain’s FC Barcelona Lassa, Brazilian Carlos Barbosa and Dynamo Moscu FC from Russia in Group A.
Group B consist of Al Rayyan of Qatar, Spanish club Inter Movistar, Magnus Futsal from Brazil and Portugal’s Benfica.
The tournament will see the participation of the eight best teams in the world and will be held at the Ali bin Hamad Al Attiya Arena in Al Sadd and Aspire’s Ladies Sports Hall in Doha, Qatar from June 24 to 29.
The competition is regarded as the best tournament in the world in its sport.
The last edition of this tournament was in 2013 in the United States where Dinamo Moscow defeated Carlos Barbosa 3-1 in the final.
