Asian Women's U-19 Volleyball Championship: Iran Beats Sri Lanka
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Sri Lanka in straight sets (25-13, 25-6, 25-16) at the 18th edition of the Asian Women's U-19 Volleyball Championship on Thursday.
Iran has lost to Japan and India and defeated Macau and Sri Lanka in the tournament so far.
There are 15 countries attending the event, divided into four pools with a single round-robin system in place for the preliminary round, which took place from July 23 to 25 in two venues.
The competition is being held at the Rajabhat University Gymnasium in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
