Residents Flee as Wildfire Chews Through Northern California (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - A wildfire laid waste to almost the entire town of Paradise, California on Friday, with thousands of residents under a mandatory evacuation order.
Nine people were killed and tens of thousands were forced to evacuated as fierce wildfires raged across California, as spreading blaze threatening the resorts of Malibu and Paradise.
Footages poster on social media shows as they were evacuated from Paradise and celebrity city of Malibu, California shows the charred landscape and burning houses as far as the eye can see, on both sides of the road.
The fire is believed to have reached over 70,000 acres in size-more than twice the size of San Francisco.
