Iran Volleyball Player Ghafour Announces Retirement
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national volleyball opposite spiker Amir Ghfour announced his retirement from national duty.
Ghafour debuted for Team Melli in 2011 and earned many achievements with the team.
Ghafour, in a letter, announced that he is no longer a national team player.
The Shahdab Yazd player has thanked his coaches and teammates.
“I am sincerely grateful to my friends and former teammates in the national team. I wish them all the best in the future. Volleyball is my life and I will not put it aside easily,” Ghafour wrote.
