Organizers of Anti-Iran Rallies Abroad Arrested

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Intelligence Ministry captured a number of “leaders” of anti-Iran rallies held in foreign countries with the purpose of stirring violent protests inside Iran.

The Iranian intelligence forces have managed to identify and arrest the organizers of anti-Iran rallies held in other countries in complicated and accurate operations.

In a video released by the Intelligence Ministry, the arrestees say they are startled to have been captured by the Iranian security forces.

The leaders of the anti-Iran gatherings are three men who used to organize the rallies in Germany, the US and the UK.

Expressing regret about their hostile actions against the Islamic Republic, the leaders of rallies said they could not even imagine that the Iranian intelligence forces had been keeping a close watch on their activities in Berlin, Los Angeles and London.

Foreign-backed riots broke out in Iran last September after the death of 22-year-old Iranian woman, Mahsa Amini.

She fainted at a police station in the capital Tehran and was pronounced dead three days later at the hospital. An official report by Iran’s Legal Medicine Organization concluded that Amini’s death was caused by illness rather than alleged blows to the head or other vital body organs.

Iran’s intelligence community has said several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, used their spy and propaganda apparatuses to provoke violent riots in the country.

Rioters went on a rampage, brutally attacking security officers and causing massive damage to public property.
