Abdolmaleki Takes Iran’s First Medal at 2022 Asian Para Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sara Abdolmaleki won Iran’s first medal in the 2022 Asian Para Games on Monday.
She claimed a bronze medal in the Canoe Sprint women's KL1 event with a time of 1:13.594.
Chinese rower Maosan Xie seized the gold with 55.478 seconds and Japanese Monika Seryu won a silver.
As the Asian Para Games returns to China for the second time following Guangzhou in 2010, nearly 3,100 athletes from 44 countries and regions are taking part across 22 sports and 564 events at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games, which runs through Oct 28.
