Persepolis Team Arrives in Riyadh
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian football club Persepolis delegation arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Sunday afternoon.
Persepolis was supposed to travel to Riyadh on Friday but the flight was canceled.
The team is scheduled to meet Al Nassr in the AFC Champions League 2023-24 Group E on Monday.
The Saudi Arabian side only needs a point to confirm top spot as it sits five points ahead of Iran's Persepolis.
Persepolis was left to rue dropped points after being held 1-1 by Tajikistan's Istiklol FC on Matchday Four, the draw coming after two consecutive wins.
