IPL: 10-Man Tractor Defeats Paykan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tractor football team defeated Paykan 2-0 in the 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Monday.
Mehdi Abdi made a brace in the 70th and 90th minutes in Tabriz’s Yadegar-e Emam Stadium.
Tractor midfielder Safaa Hadi was shown his second yellow card four minutes into the second half.
Tractor provisionally moved up to third place.
Malavan also defeated Mes 4-1 in Rafsanjan. Mes midfielder Jalaleddin Alimohammadi was sent off in the 60th minute.
Malavan provisionally moved up to fourth place.
