Iran Basketball Coach Demir Takes Charge of Manisa BBSK
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national basketball team head coach Hakan Demir was named as the new head coach of Manisa BBSK.
He has replaced Ahmet Kandemir in the Turkish basketball team.
Hakan Demir was coaching Manisa BBSK last season, but he left the team at the end of the season to head the Iranian National Team.
Media outlets have reported that Iran will part company with the coach.
Under his leadership, Team Melli lost to Brazil, Ivory Coast and Spain in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
