Esteghlal Midfielder Mehri Joins APOEL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team midfielder Saeid Mehri joined Cypriot professional football club APOEL Nicosia.
APOEL is headed by former Esteghlal coach Ricardo Sá Pinto.
Mehri was dissatisfied with his playing time in the new season in Esteghlal and canceled his contract with the Blues.
APOEL will represent Cyprus in 2024-25 UEFA Champions League as Cyprus’s representative.
