Esteghlal Target Urunov Joins Persepolis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian football club Persepolis signed Uzbekistan international midfielder Oston Urunov.
The 23-year-old player was part of Uzbekistan football team in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, where his team lost to Qatar on penalties in the quarterfinals.
Urunov has most recently played at the Russian side Ural Yekaterinburg.
Urunov had earlier been linked with a move to Esteghlal, who had previously reached an agreement with Uzbekistan captain Jaloliddin Masharipov.
