Roma Forward Azmoun to Miss Milan Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – AS Roma attacker Sardar Azmoun will not feature for the Giallorossi in the match against Milan.
Roma is scheduled to play Milan in an away match in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals on April 11.
Following his most recent injury while on international duty, the 29-year-old Iranian forward made his return to Trigoria (Roma's training facilities) where he underwent tests to assess the damage to his flexor muscle.
The tests confirmed the injury. Il Messaggero reports that Roma is not hopeful in a speedy recovery.
Azmoun will miss at least a month of action despite an initial prognosis indicated a recovery period of 2-3 weeks.
